Home Education Group

An independent group of Home Educators have used their relationship with WYPP to develop their “meet up” into both a play and youth session on an adventure playground. They continue to grow in popularity and scope.

If you are a Home Educator, you can find their group on Facebook or contact The Venture for more information.

Gwenfro Valley Steering Group

Gwenfro Valley is an adventure playground situated on the banks of the river Gwenfro, in Caia Park. Following loss of funding in 2018, local residents have been actively fundraising and volunteering to keep the playground open and host community events. At Gwenfro Valley there are opportunities to volunteer in Playwork and Youth Work roles with the WCBC Play & Youth Support Team, groundwork with the WYPP maintenance worker Jim or community involvement via the Gwenfro Valley Steering Group.

Gwenfro Valley Adventure Playground can be found on Facebook. Contact Siôn, Volunteers Coordinator, if you'd like to join the Steering Group or help out in other ways on the playground.

Playable Places, Coedpoeth

Contact us for more information if you would like to help or get involved.
